Eva Eensaar-Tootsen
Eva Eensaar-Tootsen (b. 1977) graduated from the Estonian Institute of Humanities under the tutelage of professor Lembit Peterson, then Chair of the Department of Theatre. In 2000, she started work at Theatrum where she continues to work as an actress to this day. At the same time, Eva has kept busy as a singer-songwriter, teacher and translator. She has translated plays and prose from English, French, Swedish and Norwegian. In 2005, she and Maria Peterson published an album titled “Laulud” (“Songs”) and the duo has held concerts in Estonia as well as abroad. 2017 saw the birth of “Selles südames” (“In This Heart”), a concert programme co-authored with Krista Citra Joonas.
