Jaan-Eik Tulve (b. 1967) is a renowned specialist of Gregorian chant and the artistic director of Vox Clamantis, a vocal ensemble that performs both Gregorian chant and contemporary music. Tulve graduated from the Tallinn State Conservatory in 1991. During his studies at the Le Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Tulve focussed on Gregorian chant while working as Louis-Marie Vigne’s assistant. He has led numerous workshops on Gregorian chant both at various monasteries and music festivals. Tulve also teaches at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.
