Mikael Edlund
Mikael Edlund (b. 1950) is a composer who has blazed new trails of his own. His string quartet “brains and dancin’” (1981) proved to be a major breakthrough for a composer of extreme austerity whose endeavour has come to focus on “sensuality and time”. His rock and jazz background has endowed him with an unfailing sense of music as something sensual. (a-music)
