Lauri Jõeleht
Lauri Jõeleht (b. 1971) has recently worked mostly on solo and chamber works. Viola player Garth Knox has performed Jõeleht’s “Chant Harmonique” in Estonia, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom. Oboists such as Kalev Kuljus, Heli Ernits and Riivo Kallasmaa have often performed his “Ampla”. Accordionist Külli Kudu commissioned two solo pieces and the concerto for accordion. An album of Jõeleht’s accordion music will soon be released. His chamber music works have been performed by the ensembles Una Corda and Duo Telluur as well as the wind quintet Estica.
