Estonian National Symphony Orchestra (ENSO) is the oldest continuously operating orchestra in Estonia. Like many others of its kind, ENSO was established hand in hand with Estonian Public Broadcasting in 1926. ENSO has more than a hundred members and a wide repertoire, ranging from baroque to contemporary, and they premiere most of the symphonic pieces by Estonian composers. Since 2010, Neeme Järvi has been the artistic leader of ENSO. Paavo Järvi is the orchestra’s artistic adviser and Olari Elts the chief guest conductor.
