EAMT Sinfonietta

Serhat Günay (b. 2001) was born in Turkey. He started studying music by taking flute lessons alongside his secondary education, and later he was drawn into the world of composition, which he found mesmerising. Therefore, he decided to become a composer. He studied at the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory and is still studying at the Istanbul University State Conservatory. Currently, he is undergoing the Erasmus programme at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn, Estonia. His pieces have been performed at several international events.
