Ayşe Pınar Özaslan (b.1995) started her music education at a young age as a violinist. Later, with her interest in music theory and composing, she went on to study composition at the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory. After her graduation, she commenced her master’s studies with Toivo Tulev. She has various works from solo to orchestral pieces. Özaslan strives to expand the range of her palette of sound and colors to explore the boundaries of music, sound, and textures that could be created by different instruments, materials, and techniques. She mainly draws inspiration from philosophy, linguistics, nature, art, mathematics, and technology.
