Composer, saxophonist, artist and political activist Dror Feiler was born in 1951 in Tel Aviv, Israel and has lived in Sweden since 1973. Dror Feiler has performed and recorded with orchestras and ensembles as well as as a soloist in Sweden, Russia, Yugoslavia, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Great Britain, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, France, Israel, Palestine, Netherlands, Hungary, Norway, Germany, Japan, Colombia, Mexico, USA, Brazil and Argentina. Composed music for Ensemble Modern, Klangforum Wien, Hessischer Rundfunk, Bavarian Radio Symphony orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Neo, Kroumata Percussion Ensemble, Kwartludium, Ascolta, Contrechamps, Ensemble for New Music Tallinn, Vertixe Sonora, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Greek Radio Orchestra and Black Page Orchestra (Vienna). Dror Feilers music has been performed at Stockholm New Music Festival, Donaueschingen Musiktage, Huddersfield musikfestival, Wien Modern, Tectonics Festival, Musikprotokoll, Steirischer herbst and Svensk Musikvår Festival. He is the founder (1976) of the improvisation group Lokomotiv Konkret, founder (1983) and artistic director of The Too Much Too Soon Orchestra.
