The transmedial concert-installation Ühisilma mutatsioonid (Mutations of the Common Space) connects the outer and inner space in the Harbour Theatre situated on the banks of the Emajõgi River. Broadcasting and comparing sounds that occur in real-time in urban Tartu and in the depths of Emajõgi to field recordings that have been made previously in Tallinn, Berlin, Bad-Urach, Köln, Kyiv, Minsk, New York, Otepää and elsewhere. Trying to step out of linear time and capture the presence of the constantly mutating common reality.
This composition forms a collage of pre-recorded (performed by Ensemble Musikfabrik) and live compositions: Net (2022) for amplified bass flute, Soma Pipe synthesizer and live electronics; Parallel Bridge (2021) for ensemble and live electronics; Radade vahel (Between Paths, 2020) for two flutes, electronics and video.
The concert installation opens doors exactly at 9:00 p.m., and the Sadamateatr cafe is open from 8:00 p.m.
